Product Description Ate Super Blue DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid This high performance Brake Fluid is ideal for coping with the extreme demands posed by motor racing, autocross, or high performance driving. Exceeds all DOT 4 requirements Dry boiling point 536 deg. F, wet boiling point 396 deg. F This fluid is NOT SILICONE and is compatible with conventional brake fluid. TIP: Racers frequently will alternate fluid flushes using both ATE® Super Blue and TYP 200 (DOT 4) High Performance Brake Fluids have a dry boiling point of 536F and a wet boiling point of 396F. ATE Super Blue is identical in specification to the ATE TYP 200 brake fluid. ATE Fluids are compatible and will mix with most DOT3, DOT4, or DOT 5.1 Fluids. These top-of-the-line product lie 20 °C over the DOT 5.1 standard and surpass this standard in nearly all the other requirements as well. This means that cars can go without a brake fluid change for up to 3 years while products with a lower wet boiling point have to be replaced considerably more often (e.g. DOT 3 products should be replaced annually). The overall high dry and wet boiling points make these fluids an excellent choice for street driven vehicles where brake fluid is flushed less frequently than in racing cars. The blue tint of the ATE Super Blue fluid makes bleeding brakes easy! You can easily tell when you have flushed out the older fluid. Advantages: * Minimal decrease of boiling point due to excellent water locking properties. * Non-foaming when filling and bleeding the brake system. * Excellent corrosion protection due to selected additives. * High safety tolerance against steam bubbles. * Makes brake fluid changing intervals of up to 3 years possible. TIP: Racers frequently will alternate fluid flushes using both the Super Blue and TYP 200 (Amber). The identical specifications of the fluid and difference in color makes it easy to know when you have completely flushed old fluid out of the system.

Love it, fast shipping too July 26, 2010 nctrnl Well I flushed my old fluid replaced with this, and I feel the brakes bite better. Also after long periods of autocrossing they brake dont feel slugish or fading.
Super Blue Brake Fluid "Great Stuff" July 25, 2010 John Doe (Ohio) I have used this Brake Fluid in a 2005 GTO and a 2002 Corvette Z06. I am very impressed with how this fluid performs on the race track. I have done several performance driving days with the GTO and this fluid was top notch, I never experienced brake fade. I reached speeds of 130 MPH and was able to slow the car effortlessly with the combination of this brake fluid and EBC Yellow Stuff pads. I would recommend this brake fluid to anyone driving on the street or track. Another great thing about this fluid is that under regular driving condition and a few track days a year, you only have to change it every 3 years opposed to the recommended every year of regular brake fluid. I hope this was helpful.
Awesome July 10, 2010 E. Klauser (Califon, NJ) Used this fluid to change out the DOT 3 fluid in my Girl friends car before a track event and it was awesome. The blue tint was much more noticeable than I thought it would be (think mini golf blue water) so it was readily apparent that the old fluid was flushed. I'm buying some ATE Type 200 now that the event is over to flush the system again.
Works July 2, 2010 Steven First (LANCASTER, PA, US) It is hard to review things like this seeing it is very hard to test their claims but I will do my best. This product at the very very least is as good as the brake fluid you buy from a car parts store. It is rated for a wet (contaminated) boiling point that is double (2X) the dry (brand new just opened bottle) boiling point of standard DOT 3 & 4 fluid! So at its worst it is better than the other fluid at its best. Is it true; that I do not know yet but I have little doubt of their claim. Who is this fluid for? Anyone who is a habitual brake rider (you know how you are), people who do track days or AuotX races with their cars and light utility category work vehicles. Also, I have used this fluid in my mountain bikes disk brake system to help keep my fluid from boiling when doing 40 MPH off of a mountain. I have boiled my fluid in my bike before and you all but lose your brakes but I have not had that issue with this fluid yet. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the VERY lovely bright blue color of the fluid makes it almost fun to bleed your brakes because you KNOW when you have new fluid in your lines. Until I find a fault with it, it shall be rated as 5 stars!
Excellent buy April 23, 2010 Alejandro Lopezkoelsch (USA) Excellent product and great price. Use it in my M3 to perform brake/clutch bleed and fluid replacement. Most recommended. Some people dont like the blue color, some claim that it stains the reservoir... so, there's a gold color version of this product for those concerned.
