5 out of 5 stars Nice product at this price point!   August 29, 2010

A nice value - synthetic power steering fluid for a fair cost! Royal Purple is known in the industry for the highest quality lubricants, so this makes good sense for high performance cars or any car in cold climates.

4 out of 5 stars Max EZ, EZ for your steering system, not so on your wallet   August 5, 2010
W. Ma (CA, USA)
I did a complete flush of the power steering fluid by connecting the return hose, the one that connects to the side of the resoviour, to a jug, turkey bastered the old fluid out of the resoviour, then continuously filling it with bottles of Max EZ, all while i had a helper turn on the engine and turn the steering wheel lock to lock. Be Careful though, the resoviour sucks in fluid extremely fast so be careful not to let it run dry or your system is going to have air trapped inside it, which isnt to hard to get out. On my Pathfinder, i replaced pretty much all of the old fluid as the return hose started spewing purple oil after a while. In all, it took 5 of these bottles, i barely had any left so i was cutting it close. During the test drive afterwards, i can say the steering is improved, not by a ridiculous amount, but it was def noticable, but that might not mean much as i havent changed the PS fluid for 90k miles and the old fluid was almost dark-brown/black. When i say "improved" i mean the steering was a bit easier, much smoother, imagine putting your hand on top of a bar of soap sitting on a table top, then turning your hand in a circular motion, thats how smooth it felt compared to my old fluid. Now to the fluid itself, I believe that Royal purple products are well made, except they advertise alot, and their products are overpriced. Still that does not diminsh the worth and quality of this power steering fluid. Bottom line, would i get their products again? Sure, i am confident it will serve extremly well.

PS, Yes the fluid is actually purple, like all/most of their products.

I did a complete flush and replaced with Royal Purple on a 2001 Dodge Ram Diesel. Didn't notice any difference in performance from using valvoline sinthetic.
Bottom line- better than non-synthetic but overpriced, there are other synthetic powersteering fluids out there for alot cheeper.

I flushed out my system on my 99 K1500 Suburban I am pleased with all their products. I have used their 75w90 gear lube in both differentials great product I do not have gas mileage difference yet but I would recommend changing all the fluids to prolong the life of your vehicle.Royal Purple 01326 Max EZ Power Steering Fluid - 12 oz.Royal Purple Max Gear Synthetic Gear Oil 75W90 1 Quart Bottle

5 out of 5 stars Royal Purple - Power Steering Fluid   October 12, 2009

As always, this is a great product. I changed out my daughter's fluid - 96 Chev Lumina. Breathed new life in the steering column. Also put it in my 2004 GMC Yukon. Use to make a popping sound. Sound has gone a way.
