3 out of 5 stars Workable, but NOT the same as original.   September 2, 2010
First Person Omniscient (Boston, MA)
I recently purchased one of these for my 2008 Subaru Impreza's rear window. The good news:

1) It works.
2) It's cheap.
3) Removing the original blade and installing this one took about ten seconds.

The bad news is that the Trico blade is not an "exact fit." It is about one or two inches shorter than the original, resulting in a smaller amount of clean window. It's not THAT big of a deal - and I'm sure that I'll soon get accustomed to the smaller arc - but I'm a stickler for truth in advertising, and the Trico blade is definitely smaller than the original.

Additionally, I bought my car in November 2007 and the original rear blade has lasted until now (Sept 2010), so I'm interested to see how well the Trico blade holds up in nasty northeast winter weather.

This blade fit the rear wiper on my 2005 Infinit FX35 perfectly. Great product!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent wiper!!   June 1, 2010

This wiper is much better than the one my car came with. It does a great job and wasn't too hard to install but that just depends on what kind of car you have!

I was told this blade "Exact Fit" was made for my rear wiper, not even close.

5 out of 5 stars Worked perfectly   April 1, 2010

I got this to replace my 2007 Nissan Murano rear wiper blade after checking a few places around town. Everywhere store I looked at said they were going to have to order this part in. I checked amazon and found a great price and couldn't believe this - But I got it the very next day!!! (I paid for regular ground shipping) Installation was a little tricky (there were no instructions with the new blade), but a little research helped me out:

Replace the rear wiper:

1. Remove the black plastic piece that covers the wiper arm bolt. This plastic piece is right at the right angle where the wiper arm meets the motor shaft. This can be popped off just using your hand.

2. Once the plastic piece is removed, you can see a single #9 bolt that is holding the wiper arm onto the shaft. Remove it.

3. The arm will be FIRMLY in place. Once the bolt is removed the wiper arm will most likely still be stuck. You will need to firmly jiggle the arm for it to pop off. Please be careful not to apply too much force because the arm will break.

4. Once the arm has been removed you can turn the wiper to a 90 degree angle to the arm and it will pop off.

5. Replace the wiper blade with a new one. Note even though a 14" replacement looks larger it will still fit on the window. The new one will pop into place.

6. Replace the wiper arm onto the shaft and reinstall the bolt. Don't torque it down too much yet.

7. Once the arm is back on and the bolt is snug, go turn the wiper on and make sure that it is vertically in the right position. It should end up even on the window on both sides of the motion arc. If it is not, unscrew the bolt and move it a little.

8. Once it is in the right place, tighten the bolt down firmly, replace the black plastic piece, and you are good to go.

Good as new and soo much cheaper than having a dealer do it for you.
